DOLLHOUSE – FRANKLIN by ARTSY circa 1979. Model #124 Rare – extremely hard to find collectible with 9 spacious bedrooms .

I am working on a new project.  This was a yard sale find for $15.00.  It was in need of some new roof shingles.  Sonny made new ones.  I think I will repaint the roof – not sure about the color.  The girls picked the siding color.  Still need to paint trim and doors and hang the doors.  The original owner put hardwood on the living room floor and entry.  We are going to add stone to the chimney.

We traveled to N. Y. to visit family there.  It was great to see Zack and meet his girlfriend.  He just turned one more year older.  The main attraction was the new baby, Luke.  He is a handsome little guy and looks a lot like his Uncle Zachariah did when he was a baby.  It was fun to watch Violet get a wagon ride from her “Papa” as she calls Scott.  She also likes the swimming pool very much and kept Aunt Hannah busy catching her as she went down the slide and landed in the water.  The quilt is what I made for Luke and is similar to the one my Mom made Zack when he was a baby.  Our trip was just after the Cleveland Cav’s won the finals.  Thus the picture of LeBron James.  We were all in!   It has been a great start to the summer.

It is a good spring here.  We are enjoying having Jeff and Kim living close by.  He has a new job working at the Cleveland Browns stadium.  Now all my kids have left Spencer. V__5027 We added a new gazebo to our back patio and lots of new shrubs, a patio peach tree and other perennials.  It’s my favorite time of year.  Earlier I sewed Jenn window awnings and a visor for her T@B trailer.
